Hair Removal with Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only method that has approval in hair removal and which require multiple sessions for its completion. Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or the body. The electrolysis devices are even able to destroy the growth centre of the hair with chemical or heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle and the hair is removed with tweezers. Electrolysis Houston is used for treating most of the areas of the body including eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs and legs.

Hair is beautiful, but if it is crept into other parts of the body like upper lip, chin and back, it will look more embarrassing than attractive. This type of hair growth is basically due to the age, the hormonal imbalance or any other factors. The routine methods like shaving and plucking are normal methods for the removal of the hair, but there are several other procedures which are useful in the permanent removal of unwanted hair. Electrolysis is a cosmetic procedure that is basically developed some years ago for treating people with ingrown eyelashes. Electrolysis not only removes the hair, but also destroys the hair follicle which produces the hair. A hair follicle that is destroyed by electrolysis procedure will not produce a hair again. Electrolysis is the only hair removal procedure that is approved by the Food and Drug Administration and American Medical Association. Although the electrolysis procedure is slow and expensive, men and women alike have turned to electrolysis to keep hair from growing back in that area. During the electrolysis procedure, a tiny needle is inserted into the skin and the needle is placed deep into an individual hair follicle that holds one hair. After this a low level electrical energy pulse is sent into the follicle to destroy it. The existing hair will fall down and after that the process is repeated hair by hair. In electrolysis procedure, the patient has to visit for treatment at least 20-25 times for destroying all the unwanted hair.

Electrolysis Houston has two or three different type of electrolysis procedure. Galvanic electrolysis is one such procedure which uses chemicals as conductors and in this method the needle transmits direct electrical current which acts with natural saline in the hair follicle and reacts to produce sodium hydroxide. Thermolysis is another procedure which uses water as conductor and the needle transmits alternating current to vibrate the hair follicle. The vibration then shakes the water molecules surrounding the follicle, which then heats up and destroy the follicle itself.
