Give Me Space Challenge

We have a fairly new "white space" challenge going on over at Plain Digital Wrapper called, "Give Me Space."

Learn how to do things with a minimalist approach. That's always hard to do when you are used to using heaps of product but you can see the beauty in what artists, designers, and even engineers use as white space designing. Look at the Guggenheim Museum after all! It's all white! :)

I hope your weekend is getting off to a GREAT start! I've been busy at the computer slowly making my way back to designing once again. Life is finally quieting down just a wee bit and I have plans... LOL

I just had a long awaited surgery this week and I'm doing just fine but it really took a long time to get to the point of being able to have it done. Thus my being so slow in doing much more than my store collab! YIKES!

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!

I hope this finds that you all had a wonderful holiday season and are off to a wonderful start in 2011! Where does the time go? Wow!

I have a plan of action taking place as I write this. New kits, new blog, new everything going forward!

Things are still very busy for me in real life but I've figured out my computer and that was really keeping me from creating. Add relocation to another State, job interviews, health crises' and YIKES! LOL It's all part of life - no complaints. I just want to bring you all up-to-date.

I'm still working on my new kit "Decadence." I'm working from a laptop and never like the quality of anything that comes off of one, so I will wait until I'm back on my desktop to design it. It will be a large kit and hopefully a beauty! I've tons of things planned for this line so be sure to keep your eyes on any updates! I'm hoping I will have it done in 2 weeks.

Hello Everyone!

Goodness, it seems like forever since I've posted -- my apologies. I anticipate this is going to change!

I've been a busy bee on the home front and well sometimes life just really needs your full attention. Mine sure has. Add tons of company coming and going and YIKES! LOL

I've also been traveling to and from Kentucky as I'm planning to relocate there soon. It's a 14 hour drive from my home in New York. All good things though.

I do hope your week is winding down and you are set for a wonderful weekend. We are supposed to get a huge snowstorm on Sunday so I will be creating:)

Yeah! Mr. UPS finally delivered the goods and I finally got my computer working last night!

Computer woes...

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all having a lovely week so far. I'm still in New York but slowly getting ready to move...It's amazing what one collects over 20+ years!

I've also been having some computer troubles for some time. It's a brand new computer that I bought in July. I can advise anyone who works in graphics that buying "off the shelf" is not a good idea! It's a long story but this is actually the second new one... Anyway, I've been having problems with it crashing and found out it was an extremely basic graphics card and it couldn't support my designing. I then bought an engine instead. :P Now my screen is faded like a magazine left out in the sun! I had to order more "power" to support that. Ugh! What a mess!

Typically I build my own computer but when mine crashed after 7 years, I had no choice as I couldn't wait.

I'm now saving up for a mac. Period. :)

I don't anticipate coming out with anything new tomorrow due to the fact that I can't see the true colors. I may surprise you all with a freebie and some word art to my Cappuccino Collection:) I do believe that will be a true collection so be sure to keep an eye out. My love for coffee has been in inspiration to this set.
